Royal Berkshire Hotel Wedding Photography • Outdoor Wedding • Michelle and Kyle

The Royal Berkshire is a beautiful spot to get married, especially when you get married outside like Michelle and Kyle did! The gorgeous walled secret garden is a lovely backdrop, and on this day the weather really made it! It was HOT! Having known the family for a while I knew that today would be an emotional day with key people missing, but they didn’t make it a sad occasion, they celebrated as their loved ones would’ve celebrated!

There was such a lovely vibe to the day, it was full of laughter and beaming smiles, beautiful touches like live music during the ceremony and reception drinks and also the surprise of singing waiters after the speeches! Their guests absolutely loved it! Singing waiters always work best if you have guests who will really get involved, stand on chairs, swing napkins, join the conga line! Actually the conga line worked amazingly, they took everyone outside and around the garden and when they came back in the dance floor had been revealed like magic! So the conga led the guests directly onto the dancefloor to kick off the dancing!

I love when the energy of the day leads on to each moment seamlessly, it takes such a difference!

Michelle and Kyle’s wedding was full of love, a perfect day and perfect couple to capture.

The Royal Berkshire Hotel Wedding Photography • Documentary Wedding Photography • Nathan and Nicola

This wedding day was a long time coming. Originally planned for 2018, Nicola’s father had a horrific accident which rocked everyone to their core, with the prospect of not having her father to walk her down the aisle Nicola postponed her wedding day for a year. I’m over joyed that the gorgeous Royal Berkshire Hotel were able to give them another date, and I made sure that I was available for the new date too.

So finally the day came, and as it was a year later than planned, Nathan and Nicola also had their handsome little boy there to celebrate with them! As you can imagine, the emotions were very high and I felt myself, along with everyone else in the room tear up when the stunning Nicola walked down the aisle with her Father beside her.

The weather smiled on us too, letting us have a fab confetti line out onto the lawn and allowed us to wonder around the grounds leisurely for the couple shots. Everything really did come together, it was so touching to also have a quiet moment in the walled garden for Nicola’s Aunt and Uncle to give them a blessing, I felt honoured to be able to witness such power and love in words, and to be part of such an intimate moment.

The day continued without a hitch, speeches were fabulous fun and the dancing got everyone’s heart going as Nicola’s dad decided to learn the new skill of tipping his wheelchair backwards, giving just about everyone a heart attack whilst he was cracking up!

Here’s to the newly weds, here’s to fate and love, here’s to trusting in things far greater than other selves.
