Oaks Farm Wedding • Documentary Wedding Photographer • Jenni and Luke

Oaks Farm is a fab location to get hitched, I met Jenni in the little cottage onsite to capture her getting ready shots, it’s so fab that everything is on site and there’s no driving to different locations, it definitely takes the stress out of the travel part of the day as there isn’t one! Jenni and her bridesmaids and bridesman (!) were fab in helping keep her calm and getting her excited, whilst they waited for the registras to see them I caught up with Luke in the Stables where him and his groomsmen were putting the finishing touches to the ceremony room, they were very efficient and even had time for a beer before the guests started arriving – YAS!

The guests were seated and the music started up, the emotion bubbled over for Luke as Jenni took each step towards her future husband, she looked stunning, and Lukes’ reaction said it all! After a few laughs with the rings and the best man nearly marrying himself to Jenni, they walked back down the aisle as Husband and Wife. They hid away quickly whilst I sorted out the confetti line which had to be done super quickly as it started to rain! But the guests didn’t seem to mind as the confetti line led into the drinks and canapés which again is a great element of Oaks Farm and the buildings being so close!

The drinks flowed and everyone was having a riot, the rain kept everyone inside but that created a massive buzz and fab atmosphere. When it eased off a bit we jumped outside to get the couple shots. Using the fabulous gardens we managed to get a variety of shots on just a short walk – LOVE!

Back in the room the speeches kept everyone entertained and the party really got going as the music started after everyone had refuelled (both food and alcohol!).
