Gosfield Hall was the perfect location for Stephanie and Mark’s wedding. It was a stunning winters day, cold, crisp, and a clear sky full of soft winter sun. I have to say that I absolutely LOVED this wedding. The inside of Gosfield Hall is stunning, especially the bridal suite, I was in love, spacious, with a four poster bed and massive floor to ceiling mirrors really created the perfect environment to capture Stephanie’s nervous and emotional morning. Surrounded by her friends and family emotions were high and the love was immense.
Moving down to the ceremony room which again had gorgeous high ceilings and a floor to ceiling Christmas tree decorated beautifully, Stephanie looked stunning as she held back tears down the aisle. Laughter and tears ensued during the ceremony and the perfect lead out had the newlyweds showered with white rose petals.
The weather was just perfect, and all the guests enjoyed the winter sun and braved the cold to get a few formal shots. I took the happy couple away from their guests and away from the sunlight around the corner of the building to a gorgeous door and perfect frame for couple pics. We also then had beautiful soft light with no harsh shadows and no squinting!
The wedding breakfast was again laid out beautifully and was the perfect backdrop to the speeches. Stephanie and Mark joined together to make one family with Mark’s two children. The love they have for each other was plain to see, it was especially brought to the forefront during the emotional speeches. They wanted to end with the speeches for their coverage, and as I left, I had the biggest smile on my face, everything about this wedding was just art! When I’m given such a stunning venue with so many beautiful spaces and personal touches, it really does allow my creative juices to flow, and I get really excited! Really, really, excited! I know they were super excited when they received their images too!
