Tipi Wedding Photography • The Barn Ruislip Wedding • Laura and George

Having known Laura through mutual connections it was such an honour fro her to ask me to capture her wedding! And its really no exaggeration to say that I LOVED her day! It was a beautiful tipi marquee set up in her family’s stunning garden. Every last detail was thought about, the decor, decorations ad tables were magazine worthy, I couldn’t stop taking detail shots! Everything about it was just stunning.

Having it in the family home just added something really special to the day, everyone was so relaxed and there was such a welcoming feeling to the day. To say their “I do’s” they jumped in a family members classic car in drove 5 minutes to a local barn which again was a beautiful backdrop. After the ceremony and family photos the guests headed to the tipi and I stayed back to capture a few couple shots before capturing their grand arrival back to the group.

There was live music, external catererrs serving spag bol (please everyone do this!) an external bar truck ready to get everyone in a party mode, a sweet table, doughnuts surrounding the cake and so so much more!

The speeches were beautiful, and then the dancing kicked off with a bang - I really can say how much I enjoyed this wedding. It was pure fun from start to finish, lots of dutch courage, shots, beers, wines and cocktails led to a laugh a minute. What a day!

Monkton Barn Wedding Photography • Garden Festival plus an inflatable slide! • Amy and George

These guys definitely did things their way. Starting off at the beautiful hidden delight that is Monkton barn, preparations were in full swing as I grabbed detail shots and getting ready moments, as their guests arrived the sun beamed into the room, normally creating quite a tricky lighting situation but the windows were angles as such to give the majority of their bodies some shade. The ceremony was beautiful, but there was so much more to come! So we headed off straight away to where the guests had parked (a nearby field) and grabbed a few quick couple shots as the guests all headed onto the reception.

We followed shortly after, me going slightly before them to grab their arrival pics. Their reception was on their family land where they had set up external caterers, a marquee with dance floor and DJ, and a massive inflatable slide!

They entered to a party popper line, and the drinks then started to flow. It was such a beautiful summer evening, the sun lingered in the sky keeping the heat in as the dance floor filled and laughter roared from the slide.

A perfect summer wedding - during the height of covid - where there’s a will, there’s a way!
