Wow - I was only with these guys for a couple of hours but what a couple of hours it was! You couldn’t write it! So, that nightmare you have where the rings have been forgotten…yeah, that came true! The best man realised just as Randi had arrived, he sprinted past her, followed by another family member who knew what was going on, Randi carried on upstairs to her interview. Right, they had about 10 minutes to get the rings without Randi knowing! The best man had been staying with a lot of the guests in the Landmark hotel which is literally down the road from Marylebone Town Hall, probably about a 3 minute walk. So once he’s got there, ran up to his room, got the rings, ran back we should be fine right? 20 minutes past and there was no sign! Finally a good 30 mins later, he legged it in, red faced, no breath left, but…with the rings!
Turns out, he didn’t know where he was going, and he was in such a panic after fetching the rings from the room that he went completely the wrong way and got lost on his way back! Bless him! I have to say, this is the first time this has ever happened, but it couldn’t have been to a nicer couple. The best man was given hugs and pats on the back and the celebrations continued - luckily it was a Monday so the registrars could be a bit more lenient on timings - has it been a Saturday it may have been a different story!
The good vibes continued on for couple photos, even though the heavens opened they were pleased because they could use their heart umbrella! Niching would get their spirits down on this day!
