Nonsuch mansion Wedding • A lockdown wedding • Who said we can't dance? • Maroua and Mohammed

This was one of the first Covid weddings I shot in spring 2020, and can I tell you what a joy it was to shoot a wedding again! I was so excited and even more over joyed that the sun came out and it was a stunning day. The venue, Nonsuch Mansion is a beautiful location, having shot there before I knew it had stunning light throughout, beautiful backdrops and windows, and you get a massive bit of the park cordoned off so it feels like your own private estate.

This beautiful couple had been religiously married a few days before and this was their celebration, so consisted of food, welcoming traditions and a lot of dancing!

It was so lovely to get some images of Maroua getting ready in the stunning bridal suite at Nonsuch, she had her mother with her and it was sooooooo beautiful. No images are up due to her hair being shown and religious wishes, so you’ll have to trust me! We then took some couple images in the bridal suite, which has gorgeous large windows, Maroua and Mohammed had fun and joked around getting super relaxed and beautiful images.

We then headed downstairs for the family welcoming traditions. I LOVED this moment! Drummers, singing and dancing in a leading line from the gardens to the house - absolutely fab! This led into the house where more dancing continued. They also had a cake cutting and first dance along with an exchanging of rings tradition which I loved capturing. Legally there could be no loud music/dj etc but it’s impossible to stop joy, and it’s obvious to see that there was so much joy throughout the day, even Covid couldn’t stop!
