It was a busy morning getting everyone ready for Danielle and Harry’s big day, we prayed the rain would stay away but unfortunately it started raining just we arrived at the church! Nothing fazed these two though! It’s supposed to be good luck for it to rain on your wedding day – they say that if you can get through a rainy wedding day you can get through anything! The ceremony was beautifully personal with one of their children giving the rings over to the Priest, and both Mothers signing the registry.
The rain magically stopped for the confetti line, and we all hopped straight into the cars to the venue before it started again! Buckinghamshire Golf Club is a beautiful venue to have a wedding, with the marquee on the lawn overlooking the lake it really was gorgeous! The Sun was in and out of the storm clouds, so when we had a good burst we decided to get the formal and couple photos done really quickly as we weren’t sure how long the sun would last! Luckily I finished shooting the couple shots just as the Heaven’s opened again!
Luck was on their side even further as the skies then parted and the sun shone on for the rest of the day. With so many children at their wedding it was such a fantastic idea to hire a children’s entertainer – and she was brilliant! Everyone ended up getting in on the fun, even the Bride and Groom, it also meant that the speeches were child free, so everyone could hear and appreciate the jokes and warm hearted sentiments which was fabulous.
There were so many elements to their day, no detail was forgotten about, there was always something for the guests to do, whether it be the photobooth mirror, listening to the acoustic duo playing, bouncing on the bouncy castle, playing tug of war, drinking at the two bars, dancing with the DJ or just going for a sunset walk by the lake – it was a brilliant day! I wish them all the best for their future together as husband and wife.
