Chris and Sarah had planned a relaxed, beautiful wedding at the gorgeous Stone Barn near Cheltenham. That’s exactly what they got! The weather was absolutely beautiful, saving the rain for later in the evening when everyone was dancing which worked out perfectly! Getting ready in neighboring houses it was lovely and easy for me to go between the both of them and capture the different stages of getting ready. It was fab to have their kids there to, it was so nice to have them involved in the getting ready process, and all went smoothly apart from a little tear over shoes from the paige boy - believe it or not!
Everyone was on time and all ready to go as we headed to the venue. As Sarah stepped out of the car and had her veil lowered she looked absolutely stunning! The backdrop of dark stone walls contrasting with the light on the bride and groom really made the images stand out. I am in love with contrast and their whole ceremony was just so beautiful. Adding to the atmosphere was live singing and playing from their friends, which was a lovely finishing touch.
After the group photos we had a chance to head up the hill and into the fields for our couple photos. I was so pleased the crop was in full bloom; it really added another burst of life to the images. It was so nice to chill with Sarah and Chris here, they are so laid back and funny that it was a delight to capture them as newlyweds. These two were just so in love I didn’t need to do much at all - beautiful.
Speeches led into the fabulous first dance, and their friends and family danced throughout the night. It was such a gorgeous day to be a part of; I wish them many many many happy years together.
