After having met with the couple for their engagement session, and spending time chatting at meetings before hand, we were well accustomed to each other by the time Farsheen and Chris’s wedding came around!
As a joining of different cultures, the celebrations were spread over two days. The first day, a Friday, being the Indian celebration, including a beautiful Mandap, gorgeous colours, lots of friends and family, a photobooth, fantastic food, and a fab slideshow!
I joined them at Ealing Town Hall where the massive room had been set up exquisitely. Round tables with floating candles and colourful favours filled the room. Up-lighting and room lights created a warm and friendly glow of reds and oranges; the dark colours really made the Mandap stand out. It was a gorgeous white/gold and cream, consisting of a long sofa a two armchairs, Farsheen and Chris sat down so everyone could see them in their gorgeous attire and take some pictures with the soon to be husband and wife.
After taking some static shots of the couple and their friends/family I moved outside with them and captured some more natural shots of the two of them together, and I had to get a few of Farsheen on her own in her dress! We then moved inside to capture a few moments beside the sweeping staircases. It was a very dark venue as the sun set, but this added to the atmosphere, and made the colours really stand out.
I left Farsheen and Chris to enjoy to the company of their family, as the food started to appear. I wished them a good and relaxed nights sleep before the big day just over 12 hours away. Travelling back home I made sure all my cameras and equipment was ready and fully charged for The Shard, and The Globe! Excited is an understatement of how I was feeling!
