When I met Kate and Billy for the first time, I knew I was going to love this wedding! The amount of details and thought behind everything was incredible. They love the shabby chic look, as do I, they showed me lots of handmade details, and beautiful decorations. Needless to say, I’ve been excited about this wedding for a long time! It was a very small wedding with only closest family and friends there for the ceremony, totaling about 11.
The whole feel of the day was extremely relaxed and full of love. Laughter filled both rooms of the bride and groom as they got ready, and beautiful sentiments of the Bride’s mother were present through-out the day in the form of her favourite flower: sunflowers. Tears were shed as touching presents were given and she was definitely with everyone in spirit, as the sun shined the whole day. The Bull Hotel was a great venue for their wedding; the garden proved a wealth of great little places for photo opportunities, including brick arches, herb gardens, shadowing trees and fire escapes. We had a great laugh shooting the formal shots with all the family, and this lead on to a lovely cream tea wedding breakfast, with gifts of sunflower seeds for each of the guests.
As the evening drew in the time came to move into the party room, which looked amazing! Again, all of the personalized touches, light up letters, wooden signs, love hearts, and wicker baskets really made the room look unique. The party got started as the evening guests arrived and took full advantage of the photo booth, and the DJ put on some really good songs to get everyone up and dancing. It was a fab evening full of fun. This newly married couple deserved nothing else than the amazing day they had! I wish them all the best in their lives together.
