What a day!
It was Friday the 13th and red nose day when this gorgeous pair tied the knot. It was fantastically relaxed and chilled out when I arrived at the Bridal suite, everyone was taking things in their stride and enjoying getting ready without any rush – the joys of a 3.00pm wedding!
The weather turned out to be great, seeing as it was supposed to be raining, but the sun started to shine, and although it wasn’t the warmest of days it was still dry!
This day was filled with emotion and surprises from start to end. There were beautiful and heart-warming speeches and music; singing Italian waiters (who turned out to be from England!) surprised our Bride and Groom, along with a very special first dance sung by a family member. There were also added surprises in the cake – which featured and Fulham flag! Flags also featured in an episode of flag waving at the end of the ceremony and red noses added a bit of fun to the group shots. Every moment of the day kept you guessing and smiling.
The joining of two families is always an extremely special occasion and with daughters on both sides becoming sisters it was very touching to be there and observe that union. You could tell that the bride and groom were a very loved couple. The way they were spoken about during the speeches and throughout the day was lovely – and it was another little surprise for one of the groom’s daughters to say a few little words to her father to begin the speeches.
The whole wedding week was made even more special by the early arrival of a grandson! With that added joy the whole experience was so enjoyable, the Bride and Groom have an incredible set of people surrounding them, and I hope that they remember the day fondly whenever they go back over the pictures.
