Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa Wedding • Lythe Hill Wedding Photographer • Andrew and Sian

Step into the enchanting world of Andrew and Sian's wedding at The Lythe Hill Hotel and Voco Spa, where love, laughter, and a touch of adventure created a day to remember. From an outdoor ceremony with a twist to stunning couple photos in the woods, this celebration had it all.

The love story of Andrew and Sian began with an outdoor ceremony at The Lythe Hill Hotel, where nature provided the most scenic backdrop. The ceremony had a unique twist—the longest and probably most bumpy aisle walk imaginable! As the couple navigated the outdoor terrain, the love and excitement in the air were palpable, making it a truly memorable start to their married life.

Surrounded by lush greenery, the reception drinks at Lythe Hill Hotel were nothing short of magical. Guests enjoyed the beautiful scenery while partaking in outdoor games, adding a playful and interactive element to the celebration. From lawn games to laughter, the atmosphere was filled with joy and the celebration of love.

Undeterred by the potential challenges of mud, Andrew and Sian ventured into the woods to capture breathtaking couple photos. The result? A collection of stunning images that perfectly encapsulated the essence of their love against the backdrop of nature's beauty. Their willingness to embrace the outdoors added an adventurous touch to their wedding album.

The emotional speeches during the reception were a testament to the deep connections Andrew and Sian share with their loved ones. Tears of joy, laughter, and heartfelt sentiments filled the air, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere that resonated with the love that surrounded the couple on their special day.

As the day turned into night, the celebration continued with joyous dancing that brought everyone together. The dance floor was alive with energy and laughter as Andrew and Sian, along with their guests, danced the night away. It was a perfect blend of emotional moments and carefree fun, reflecting the diverse and beautiful tapestry of their love story.

Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa wedding • Madi Lane Dress • Emily and Matt

Believe it or not I was four days away from giving birth when capturing this wedding! I had my good friend Katrina come along with me to second shoot and to take over if needed, but I'm glad to say that I made it through the whole day! And what a day! Emily and Matt were supposed to get married in the outdoor ceremony space but the rain threatened throughout the morning and light drizzle and dark rain clouds made them decide it was safer to head indoors to get married. And it took nothing away from the day, Lythe Hill is it beautifully light space, and once all the guests were in and Emily was walking down the aisle in that stunning dress no one cared that they were inside rather than out.

We had fun during their getting ready morning and this joy for life continued throughout the ceremony and into the rest of the day. We still managed to get outside as the rain stopped for us which is fantastic, we got loads of family shots and couple shots in the outdoor ceremony location and then went for a little walk in the nearby woods with Emily and Matt to get a few more couple photos with a bit of a different background before heading back for some hysterical speeches again in a beautifully light room. The drinks were definitely flowing during speeches and this made for an excellent dancefloor when the band were revealed and the tunes started getting people to their feet, in fact, people were dancing to the sound check! When I see something like that I know it's gonna be a good party there's nothing I like more than people dancing!

I can't wait to be shooting here again soon, it's such a stunning venue so many different backgrounds and photo opportunities, a fab place to consider if you’re getting married.
